As I walked to my closet, grabbing my Michigan State sweatshirt, it dawned on me. Nine days ago, February turned into March, signifying only one thing for basketball fans: March Madness. For those out there who are unaware, March Madness is a nickname for the NCAA Basketball Championship Tournament.

The NCAA basketball championship tournament is unpredictable - to a point.
Every year, there are new contenders and surprising upsets, but there are also a few things you can set your watch to. "Oh, it's March? It's Madness? It's the traditional powerhouses marching through the tournament!"
This year, the Chicago Flame expects three perennial contenders to be at or near the top by the end of the season and predicts that one team will break through and have a great run.

The UIC Men's Baseball team earned a victory this past week against the No. 23rd ranked Western Kentucky.? The Flames traveled down to Bowling Green to meet the Hilltoppers at their very own Nick Dennes Field.
The game started off with John Rosinski going 4-for-4 to bring in the first two runs of the game.
