Jimmy John's is good stuff. By the owner's admission, the menu is not extensive, but the food is truly top-notch. Jimmy John's bakes its own bread and, if it sits longer than four hours, they sell it as day-old. All of the cold-cuts and vegetables are of the best quality and not expensive.

The subs and spattering of sandwiches offer something for everyone. The vegetarian sub is really good (a lot better than Subway) as is the medium rare roast-beef laden Hunter's Club, a delight for the most dedicated meat-eater. Two other great subs are the Bootlegger Club, loaded with roast beef and turkey and the Billy Club, sliced roast beef with shaved ham. If you're pressed for time, they have a lunch box you can take with you. Hungry but can't leave the office, Jimmy John's delivers and can cater special events.

Check out Jimmy John's—it's close to campus, cheap, and delicious.
