"I was in Colorado on a family trip and had picked out a present for my girlfriend. I got home and as I was giving her the gift, she broke up with me." -Alex Durbin, fifth-year philosophy major.
"I was in 8th grade and I got a present from five different crushes; including a teddy bear and chocolate! However, my parents wouldn't let me have a boyfriend so my mom made me go to each person's house to return their gift."
-Camille Clement, second-year psychology major.
"My boyfriend and I went to T.G.I. Friday's for dinner. The people before us had spilt food all under the table so we got it all over our pants, when we finally got our food it was cold, and the cheesecake we ordered for dessert was frozen."
-Sarah Hearn, fourth-year Criminal Justice/Sociology major.
"The boy I liked told me that we would spend Valentine's Day together. The day before, while we were joking around, he took a joke way too seriously. He then told me that he was too busy to hang out on Valentine's Day. So I ended up going to the movies with some friends, and when I got home I found out he had been texting my best friend all night long."
-Yetunde Erinkitola, second-year English/Classics major.
